- How to get started:

- 1) You will need:
- a) A copy of Network Security Guard software.
- b) A Macintosh Plus or better
- c) At least 2MB of available RAM
- d) An AppleTalk network.

- 2) Install the Network Security Guard software by double clicking the
- compressed archive and selecting a location where you would like the
- software installed. It may be placed in any folder you wish on your
- computer.

- 3) Double click on the Network Security Guard application.

- Registering:
- (If you are just trying Network Security Guard out, skip this step.)

- 1) Select “Registering” from the “Help” menu.

- 2) Hit the Tab key or click once in the Name, Company, and Serial Number
- fields.

- 3) Enter all the information exactly as provided by MR Mac Software in the
- spaces provided.

- 4) Be sure and read the License Agreement in the Help menu before
- continuing.

- 5) Now Click the “Register” button and your serial number will be verified.

- Hint: If it says your serial number is invalid, please check and make sure that
- each entry is exactly as provided for you by MR Mac Software. If you would
- like the registration information altered, please e-mail
- nsgsupport@mrmac.com and we'll be happy to accomodate you.

- 6) You are now ready to run your first check!
